NEW SCOTTISH GYMNASTICS GUIDELINES FOR ALL CLUB ATTENDANTS AND PARTICIPANTS

 

WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE IN ADVANCE FOR THEIR PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING WHILE WE ADJUST TO OUR NEW GUIDLINES.

 

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD GYMNAST SHOW UP AT THE GYM SHOWING ANY SIGNS OR SYMPTOMS, ANYONE DOING SO WILL BE SENT AWAY OR PARENTS PHONED TO BE COLLECTED IMMEDIATELY.

 

Drop off and Pick up is a one way system— Entrance door will be locked until it’s time to enter.

 

1  - Gymnasts MUST be on time any late comers are not permitted to participate once the class has started.

 

2  - Social distancing markers will be visible round the building. Please use them if you are not in a vehicle.

 

3  - Parents/Guardians are not permitted into the premises. Coaches will meet gymnasts at the Entrance door for handover at the start of class

 

4  - Gymnasts will Exit through the gym Fire exit, please check the fire exit doors for your Childs class time so you know which door they will be exiting.

 

5  - Gymnasts will be released to parents when their parent is at the fire exit door. Coaches will be doing the sign out sheet as gymnasts are handed over to parents.

 

6  - Gymnasts should come to the session with their gym gear on and MUST bring a bag which they can fit their shoes and clothing into to hang up on a peg.

 

7  - Gymnasts should bring their own hand gel.

 

8  - ALL Gymnasts must socially distanced from coaches and vice versa.

 

9  - Under 12’s don’t need to distance from each other during the session.

 

10 - Over 12’s Must social distance at all times.

 

11 - PRE-SCHOOL All guardians must wear face coverings and adhere to government guidelines.

 

12 - Tell a coach immediately if you feel unwell.

 

13 - Gymnasts who have a habit of touching their face should bring a face mask to wear.

 

FEE’S

When it’s time to pay Fee’s, the correct money or cheque should be put in an envelope with your Childs name / day / time attending, the coaches will mark up the payment and give the gymnast a receipt to give to parent’s.

CLEANING and HAND SANITISER

Following government guidelines we will be adhering to the new cleaning regime before / during and after sessions.

 

There will be hand sanitiser on entering/exiting the building and provided during sessions, it would be appreciated if gymnasts can bring their own to help reduce touch points.

 

 

CLASS STRUCTURE

 

Unfortunately due to Government cleaning guidelines we are limited to the equipment we can use in the gym for this reason Recreational classes will not be able to use the bars / the foam pit and a few other things.

 

Social distancing measures will also be put in place where applicable.
